"The hearth is roaring, the ale is flowing, and the stew is fresh... at least for the next five minutes until I eat it myself!" — Echelbelly Lardbucket
🍲 This Week's Menu (Bree-land & Evendim Specialties)
| Bree-land Sour Ale | A thick, malodorous brew straight from the courtyard of the Prancing Pony, guaranteed to make your knees knock. |
| "Sea-Rat" Smoked Pork | A massive plate of roasted pork, heavily seasoned to satisfy an ancient Runekeeper after a long day of academic violence. |
| "Common Lead" Sea Amulets (Edible Treats) | Cheap, tarnished silver-glazed pastries shaped like ancient relics. Completely devoid of magical resonance, but great with tea. |
📜 Tavern Rumors & Company Tracks
What the locals say: "Travelers heading north through the Bree-gate are talking about a wild expedition to the shattered jewel of Evendim! They say Captain Echelandir sent a rather chaotic trio into the ruins of Annúminas: the venerable, short-fused Runekeeper Echelzannor, a diminutive Hobbit brawler named Echelwallbrick, and a completely hydrophobic pirate, Echelvanbloth.
The company reportedly descended into the flooded, stagnant catacombs near the old docks, looking for a cure to an Angmarim curse. Instead of a cure, they found a terrifying pack of bone-snapping Kergrims led by a colossal alpha beast! While aiding the Dúnedain Ranger Orchalwë, the companions turned the ancient plaza into a spectacular festival of severed limbs and runic lightning. Rumor has it old Master Zannor unleashed a forbidden Dwarven chant that erupted into a colossal pillar of pure white light, vaporizing the monster and scaring the local Orc war-bands straight out of the plazas! The trio was last seen trotting back to Bree-land with a heavy sack of one hundred northern gold pieces—though the scholar slept through most of the victory march."
